The Hammer

You heat and you hammer
you hammer and heat.
You take what is given,
into you, you beat.

Shove in oven,
burn, crackle and squeak.
Silent, forgiving,
into you, you shriek.

Burning and turning,
compleat overturning.
In cinder, in ashes,
always in the trashes,

it lashes, it clashes,
into my head it bashes.
Expected? Expected.
and into the beat.
